Experience and authorship

Why the firm’s perspective matters.

Legal information is most useful when readers can understand who stands behind it and where that experience comes from.

A prosecutor’s perspective

After graduating from Appalachian School of Law, Michael J. Letsen worked in the Buchanan County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office. His defense work uses that background to organize questions about evidence, charging decisions, and how the Commonwealth may present a case—never to imply influence or a guaranteed outcome.

Continued legal education

Michael earned an LL.M. from Texas A&M School of Law in 2022 after receiving his J.D. from Appalachian School of Law in 2005 and undergraduate degree from Liberty University in 2002.

Information tied to real practice areas

The firm’s public guides focus on the matters it currently handles: reckless driving, DUI/DWI, assault and battery, drug charges, sex-crime allegations, and murder or homicide allegations.

How the office helps

The first service is a clear view of what comes next.

Clients come to the office with court dates, paperwork, and questions. The work begins with listening, reviewing the details, and explaining options in terms that make sense.
